Drowning in Plastic

We are drowning in plastics… Annually 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide, that's 1 million bags every minute, but their use life is just 15 minutes, in average. More than 8 million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year and by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean. Approximately 100,000 marine creatures a year die from plastic ingestion or entanglement and these are just the ones that we find.

A Plastic World is a project in Collaboration with Greenpeace to raise awareness on ocean plastic pollution and the enormous damage plastic is doing to our oceans.  With Alesha Pyers
