While we go on with our lives, there is a group of people, that are are fighting for our future. The Future of Aotearoa New Zealand and the future of the Earth. This project is an homage to those who put their time, energy and even personal safety on the line to protect the Earth for us and, specially, for the seven generations who will come after us. They will be the ancestors that one day will be remembered.
Photographed during protest, blockades and actions in 2020 , they have a light in their eyes that is rarely seen nowadays in our consumerist society. They are part of Extinction Rebellion, Greenpeace, the Pupu Springs defenders, the Climate Forum and other organizations that with their energy and convictions as their main resources are fighting for all of us.
